You can always block the camera with the visor that way you have your privacy. That's what I do no way I'm being spied on

 

What is the purpose of an inward pointing camera?

I thought it was to record what you were doing at the time of a hard braking incident? If you are using something to block the camera, wouldn't that be a violation of your company safety policy?

 

I believe he's talking about when your not rolling instead of pulling the curtains you can just block it with the visor.

But if you have a problem with your company watching you while stopped why wouldn't you pull your curtains shut as well?

I could just imagine some tweaker standing on your side step whackin' it staring straight at you while you sleep

Start a new thread on the "Questions From New Drivers" and ask "Which companies don't have cameras and hire new drivers?"
Move to a state with better weather and no personal income taxes.

 

Had you done a little research in the beginning, you wouldn't have signed on with one of, if not the, worst companies on the road. However, what's done is done and you made it long enough to go elsewhere. And, in my eyes, making it as long as you have with them, is a good selling point to a prospective company.
