I hit a low clearance bridge . . .

    . . . . With a 30' cheap Kobalt magnetic tip tape measure, after pulling onto a side road faced with a 10' 8" rail bridge.

    Walked the 1/8th mile down the road, to find it was 13' 8".

    Walked back to the truck, a helpful motorist blocked traffic while I backed up and turned, approached carefully and NOTHING WAS DAMAGED.

    Who would have known!

    This super trucker stuff is getting way out of hand.
