Sure. I had chf two years ago. It depends on the severity. Your heart doesn’t stop like a heart attack, but it’s pumping action gets reduced and constricted. I was off for a week, then back at it. Never even met with a cardiologist. It depends on the severity. It’s up to his doctor.

 

you're doing yourself a disservice by NOT seeing an interventionist/cardiologist. do you know for a fact that your heart is really back to normal, or damaged?

good luck to you, i ain't about to debate a health issue with you, as i only know what my late dad went thru, and yes, he did see a specialist.

 

It's when you start wondering why you don't keep one under the bed at home instead of walking all the way to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

No problem, just relating my experience. Went for an ekg, was sent to the cardiologist for review. He decided no further treatment was necessary. I only had 2% damage. Every person who has an event is different. Sounds like your dad had a bad event. Good on you for looking after him.

yes, this is true, everyone is different. sorry that you have even a small 2% damage. i sincerely hope that you take good care of yourself, as we ALL KNOW, driving a truck and the schedules is not the best for our health.
