LOL, I was just thinking about this song this morning, but couldn't remember the name until I saw your post Jenny playing.

I actually sold a rental late last year spurred from one of those calls. It started with a text and I jacked with them something terrible.

23 years ago I bought a home in an area that has become one of the most sought after in metro ATL. About a decade later a rental not far away. I sold the rental a couple months ago. The real estate calls and texts really didn't start until 3-4 years ago, and have gotten absurd. Usually around two dozen a week, in addition to finance offers and other business spam. They're using all kinds of countermeasures to get around call blocking. Fake caller ID names, spoofed phone numbers to look similar to mine, you name it.

If I don't recognize your name or number, the call is bounced with prejudice and immediately blocked. I'm sure I've missed millions in sweepstakes winnings by doing that, and it's been worth every penny.

I just battled with Bank of America for 8 months over a fraudulent credit card and account. Same as you, never had an account with them ever and now I never will. Absolutely the worst banking institution to communicate with, ever.

    1) Put your number on the Do Not Call List (National Do Not Call Registry)

    2) If it was not already on there wait, 45-60 days

    3) If it was on there I’d recommend an app called DoNotPay. It’s $35 for 3 months. It is a computerized, Artificial Intelligence app that can help lead you through things that are difficult on your own for the first time but through info aggregation are easier with the app.

They will give you a (working) credit card number - with a tiny balance - to give the callers so that, when they try to pull money, the app knows who they actually are and then how to legally serve them. It then helps walk you through that process.
