If you pulled up next to me and run one of those loud, cheap, genorators,l'd have to shut it off and kick it off your catwalk

Honestly, I think somebody did sabotage both my generators, just too coincidental that they both have crapped out so close in time. I catch the fool messing with my stuff and that fool will be a missing person case permanently.

Not as loud as running the big engine on 1000 RPM which I have had to do since my gens don't run. When I get things set back up I plan on electrifying the catwalk area so anybody touching the gen will be instantly barbequed to death.

Normally I'd be all for that, because no one has any business messing with another man's truck.

But unfortunately, slip-and-fall lawyers are a reality in this backwards, 180 degrees out of phase, "i'm not responsible for my own actions" world in which we live. If anyone else's own stupidity happens to land them in the hospital thanks be to your plan, it will also likely land you in a courtroom both civilly and criminally.

if I want to be comfortable, I idle. if the company that im driving for doesn't like it, they can fire me or drive the truck themselves. as for the statelaws, most of the states that I have went to never seemed to enforce that law that I seen. except of course cali

I only wrote that I was 'planning' on it lol. Not necessarily acting on it. But the way the justice system is changing, they seem to be going after 'intent'-- example 'reaching for the cell phone' while operating a commercial vehicle. Could have been reaching for anything or nothing, I can see this provision being a total catchall in any given commerical vehicle crash.

Investigating Officer: "I see your big truck was rear ended by the drunk driver, however I determined you were reaching for your phone therefore I am placing you under arrest"

That's the problem to many people in management that do not have a clue about what trucking is all about its like getting people to manage a football team that have never played a game of football.
