It was a swing engine. Around 18k for swing motor an another 8500 for misc parts fees an of course labor.
Plus $1500 towing bill( they only towed it 12 miles btw)
I racked up a ridiculous tow bike because I broke down in the heart of Dallas so the mechanic charged me 6 hours of time just to flag traffic. Tow truck took 6 hours to get there. They had that great American truck show going on that week I believe so every tow truck within 40 miles was booked!

To be honest I think the owner wanted my 379 for himself an tried to scare me with the big bill hoping I would just abandon the truck or something. Little did he know I would've drove it off the I-10 bridge before I just let some repair shop beat me out of it.

Yea price a c15 6NZ an tell me what you come up with lol. I had to have all of that in order to get that unlimited warranty.
My original motor had 1.2 million miles on it so it was in need of a in frame anyway.
    Head by itself was 6k

thats a c15 acert price there , had 2 turbos and the 3 vva heads were 845 each for three, the 6 nz probably would have been a tad cheaper with the one turbo and no vva heads maybe
