Yep. That’s how it starts. It’s kinda like TTR.

 

How much do they pay extra to train? I don’t think I could do it when there are otr jobs that pay 1,500 and up a week solo.

 

I’d have to have over 2,000 a week to even consider it. Plus the fact that I’m not easy to work for if someone doesn’t listen real well or/and lazy.

 

Where do you find that job.

 

I think Ashley furniture pays that from what I’ve read and there not the only ones that I’ve heard of. I know of one place thats @1200 to start is about normal. But I’m not otr and not going to be at the moment. Local jobs pay 900-1000 and they are everywhere. Why would I ride with some stranger for weeks for peanuts or for that matter even go otr at all.
Oh I think some tanker companies pay that to. There in the company sections. These megas are a joke. Just .40/mile at 2500 a week is 1,000. You telling me that’s not easy? I run @1600 and it’s local. No wonder they can’t find help nobodies willing to work a full day.

 

Oh Old dominion starts @26/hr in my area. Yea it’s hard to get on but it’s out there. Saia is in the 20’s. Piss freakin temp companies are starting at 18/hr and ot. All the work u want. But see there again that’s the problem, people don’t really want to work.
