Feel better, man. I wish a full recovery for you your wife.

Statistically? You'll be fine. But I've known five people (friends and relatives of friends) who've "beaten the odds," so just please take care.

I took the hottest steamy showers I could stand for as long as the hot water would keep up twice a day. I agree it definitely helped.

DayQuil and then Zicam nasal spray to clear the sinuses.

Hang in there Wargames. Keep hydrated. Take vitamins.

Speaking from experience it’s certainly not a lot of fun for sure but you will get thru it.
Push the fluids and I know it’s hard to do but get up and move around as much and as often as you can.
Also hot showers were helpful for me.
The worst for me was the night time because that’s when my fever would come up and I would feel the worst.
My recovery was about ten days before I felt ok to go back to work.
It’s been about a month and half now for me and although my sense of smell and taste is coming back it’s a slow road.

Take zinc and vitamin D, please. And this goes for everyone, every time you get sick.

Zinc inhibits the replication of the virus, which means you'll stay as sick as you are when you begin taking it. Or not get too sick to begin with, if you get it early.

And vitamin D is just a great every day vitamin to take, as most Americans are deficient. It's wonderful for your overall immune system.

Even if you are not sick, take vitamin D/3 and zinc every day.
    And watch what you eat.

Maybe Everett needs to bring over some chicken soup from the Diner. Feel better, both of you.

I keep saying this over and over. You need to find a doctor that actually treats this. There are drugs that really do help. The place i know is being overrun now that people have found out about it. Someone was there at 5:30am and was already 10 on the list.
