Those are some pictures of the landmarks I mentioned having the opportunity to see while working here. I have hundreds of pictures on a SD card that I’ve collected since I started. I also have an album called “State Signs” where I made it a point to snap one each time I crossed into a different state in my early years. Some are just of the signs, others have the sign with my truck next to it. So far, I’ve touched everything except for Maine and New Hampshire in a IRT truck.

Yeah, I get you, I've heard the work-life balance for local is sometimes worse than OTR unless you got a regular job, especially food service. You start early, 4-5 AM, and by the time you’re done, and drive home depending on where you live, it'll already be 7-8 PM. I don't mind staying OTR, as long as I'm making good money, in fact I wanted to stay out 1 month at a time or more and be home 1 week, that looks like a better schedule to me than be home every night just to have 5 hours to go shower and to sleep to get up tomorrow morning and running red lights again lol. I'm gonna try Bynum and Flowtrans to see what they have to offer, cause honestly, I don't like trucking lol and I want to do Tanker ( food grade ), because by what I've read is where you get treated the best out of all of them even though, I haven't been treated bad in Flatbed by customers, yet...Speed_Drums and hope not dumb twucker Thank this.

That's pretty good my terminal is end of line for OD . you're best for days for days would be fedex. You could probably get days within 15 years there. Dallas and those cities probably be a better betSpeedy356 and nextgentrucker Thank this.

Which terminal do you run out of?

I heard LTL is a "Move up the latter" type of gig, the more years you have there the better runs you get, and when you're a newbie, you get the crappie runs, maybe that's food service, I don't know lol.

I don't but little Rock is where I'm from and I know a driver that works there . The only places I don't know much about would be saia and xpo .
