I’m glad to hear it has worked out for you and that you’re getting the miles you expected.

In my opinion, things will work out. Companies have loans and various financial responsibilities that they have to plan ahead for when recessions are forecasted and the economy becomes a roller coaster. It’s similar to when we schedule home time and we know our next paycheck will be smaller than it usually is. We set back and plan for our upcoming bills, etc. I paid for a tank wash one time with a Comm check, then watched them build and open, what I assume is at least a million dollar terminal in Cordele, Georgia a few months later. I’m not an agent, but I guarantee you that real estate near an exit ramp on I 75 next to the Loves wasn’t cheap. I’m just using that as an example to show how things like a Comm check payment on something can be completely deceiving on the financial well being of a company. There are always variables behind the scenes that we’re unaware of that I’m sure justify things. I base my faith in what I’ve witnessed the company do over the past eight years, not off of hearsay around a driver’s lounge. There was a rumor one time that we were merging with another company, and it was started simply because someone saw one of their trucks getting washed at our commercial tank wash, no different than we use Opie’s in Memphis for washes once in a while. As long as we’re running and still getting good miles the way we are, that means the company is generating revenue, too. Skepticism is understandable in times like this, but things will be fine in the long run. That’s my opinion.

Kag has a bad habit of coming in and taking over a company and slicing driver pay . Junk equipment and in cab cameras . Always keep another company in your back pocket because you never know if your on the chopping block.

Coming from Dry Van and seeing empty miles like this is crazy. Our highest guy has barely broken 5k empty over this year and that is with a ton of FL freight. I couldn't imagine the rates we would have to get to justify that kind of deadhead.

That's definitely something I like about it, I was in dry van for a year before this and I'd be sitting a lot waiting for loads vs just deadheading to one. Makes a big difference in my miles.
