That was basically a rolling party. He might as well had dancing queen by abba, playing with strobe lights .

Yeah... I think I'll start using that option now, I see that it's needed in the Tanker world... So if you didn't check that box, you lose your time? I was at the shipper for 4hrs+ today, and it's supposed to be deliver today but I won't make it cause my 14 hours will be up by then, I message dispatch telling them that I need to deliver it tomorrow, they told me after I take my 30 minutes break ( before 8hrs driving ) I'll be at 9hrs+ so I can make it today. I don't know what the hell they're talking about but I think they might be confusing it with the recap that I'm getting tonight. Am I right or is there something from the HOS I didn't know about?

Are they counting the 4 hours stuck at the shipper as part of your 7-3 split?

Going by what @Redtwin said, I needed to check the "Will pair SB" box in the Qualcomm to do that and I didn't do it when I was at the shipper so I guess I can't use it today. Plus I honestly don't know what they're counting, probably my recap... Here’s my log.

I think you can still check that box and it’ll calculate back, and factor in your downtime for the day.

You can check the box and use Sleeper berth after you had a 2+ hour break. You don't need to do it before the break. Just make sure when you park for the night you take a full 10hrs in sleeper berth. The Qualcomm may still show available hours after only 8hrs but stay in sleeper berth for a full 10 so it resets and you get a full 14hrs.

You don't want to get into a situation where you are trying to figure out hours and chasing your tail.

Cool, I was going to ask about that, what's the point of doing a full 10hrs break in Sleeper Berth? I thought the whole point of splitting your break was to be able to go out earlier than when you would've been. Can you still go out early if you do that?
