Ok that's the record. I haven't heard of anyone doing that since elogs came out. That's more than a hurricane express driver runs, That thought convoy was a documentary and hasn't been home in 72 months.

 

Hartley to Platteville run is still going out of Clovis

 

If you are running Agricultural Exemption everyday and maxing it out, the miles rack up very quickly. Think of your regular mileage in an 11hr day then add another 300+ miles on that.

I ran into a driver at a farm who told me he does strictly FL/GA raw milk runs. He said he drives 700+ miles everyday, 7 days a week. That's near enough 5,000 miles in one week.

Way too much work for me but for those that can handle it, more power to them.

 

Border crossing pay and percentage loads will pad out the paycheck without needing to rack up big miles.

 

Does he ever go home?

 

Didn't ask. He said he takes his 10 at the farm. That place stunk so bad and had so mud, muck and flies I couldn't wait to get out of there. He is clearly a different kind of truck driver than myself.

That and if who I think it is , he's best friends with the farm owners...

 

I thought that was the driver that worked out of the Dixie farm I believe he was let go do to taping a four wheeler.
At least that was what I heard
