It's not a security issue, it's a productivity issue and a safety issue.

Imagine if one of these idiots were walking around in a DC

Survival of the fittest, and to hell with your productivity, a job is a paycheck, not a lifestyle. my employer is not my parent before i was 18

Kinda interested in what caused it. It's not every day you see a Wally DC burn down.

A friend’s brother works there and said some employees suspect arson. But there will always be scuttle but.
Nearly 200 firefighters from 18 departments fought the fire. I could see the smoke driving in from Terre Haute. I was about 22 miles away when I first seen it. Employees at a facility about 8 blocks away said they could see flames. The building is gutted.
Employees were taken to a nearby facility and the address was widely broadcast for family members. Employees were able to retrieve their cars today.
A bit or irony. The Plainfield, and Avon fire departments were training on fighting large warehouse fires right down the street. They were on site in three minutes. One fire fighter said they just learned these large new warehouses will burn hot and fast.
    Yeah, it did.

Me thinks amazon paid some shady characters to torch their biggest online competitor.

And Walmart is being generous. For those employees not able to relocate to other DC's, they are going to pay them 40 hours a week. For those that want to relocate to a different facility, they can, and keep their seniority. And...they are working towards replacing all the personal property lost in the fire.

With all the security cameras a DC would have, hopefully the data got sent to corporate before the network melted.

Considering how fast and how big it got in no time…it could simply be an accident but I’m leary of that..but never know..can only imagine the $$ amount of damages..buildings and trailers toasted…

I saw that too..seems Walmart mgt has somewhat changed their attitude towards employees nowadays and seem to actually care to some extent…
