Wouldn't work for them again if the heavens started raining freight-shakers for free. You life will be reduced to waiting at the dock then running 200miles, then you pat yourself on the back and waiting some more until the next day, then run 100miles to the next pick up where you will have to wait for 6hrs cause they lied to you about the pick up, out of hours, they want to b_tch about something rather. Way to go trucking. What a life!!! There are much better companies out there, I know none are perfect, but what is your pleasure, I bet knight is definitely not one of them! If you knew that you were going to be driving for knight when you were 2, you'd jumped from a moving car back then!!!

So with all of your expertiese, what are the good Companies that no one b------s about?

Who is the perfict company that will give you the same options that the Big Boys will, Regional, National, casual, part-time?

Not an expert at all, just stating fact. I would go for smaller companies as they tend to be a bit more reasonable. Also, no company is perfect, there is crap everywhere, the question is "how much of it can you handle?" Knight's? Not for me! Also, everyone's experience is different depending on what they want in the industry/their experience, hometime, a bunch of stuff! For me, Knight IS NOT THE PLACE! Just saying...

It's amazing. I left that gulag over a year ago and it was likely the best move I made in a long time, even in this crap economy. I see they still treat drivers like cattle, yet they can always find someone who is just fine with it, so why should they fix anything?Wanna know why the biz is the way it is? Cuz so many are fine with it the way it is. If not, they'd demand changes (and that can go for anything, really). Least when I was there you could idle for heat/cooling, now they even took that away? I made less than a fry cook for being away from my family for weeks, eating crap food, getting useless sleep, and fixing their screw ups (which they always blamed the driver for. WE FIX!). Not to mention fighting every degenerate in a four wheeler who thought you were there to entertain them. No, I don't miss trucking or the road. I'm glad there's guys willing to take it so I don't have to. I salute ya. Have fun.

Wait.....you don't like picking up 500 mile loads on Friday morning that deliver Monday morning? Then surely you were happy with the 280 mile dispatch 6 hours after delivering that was supposed to have been picked up that morning. Some people I tell ya.:biggrin_25523:
