The camera can be remotely operated by an administrator or safety. Although they rarely would have cause to "check up on every random driver" they definitely have the ability if perhaps they suspect something. Just big brother popping in...
Inside and out facing camera turns on randomly

Perfectly legal. You agreed to it the day you drove the truck knowing that tearless retina was staring you down. Deal with it or move on.

What company?

Trucking company manager told me that he could click on any driver, any time, and see them live. Even though the HR guy told us that a third-party has to review each special clip first.
That company removed the cams after trying them, they were uncomfortable with the privacy issues, which is one reason I hired there. -
Turn your 4 ways on to trigger the BS nanny cam and get up on the top bunk commado spead eagle. Air it all out. See how quickly they change the trigger events after a cam full of twig and berries.

Can’t believe there is no privacy laws against this... we had a couple guys written up for unhooking their trailer and not wearing their seatbelt while parking the tractor.... then these companies wonder why it’s hard to find a driver

driverdriver and yzar78 Thank this.
