He doesn't say the value in the other video either just that it's a '13 t660.

I understand it's a broad stroke of LS but I was bored watching earlier

First Choice is one a lot of LS drivers use. I quoted with them, but they wouldn’t take me with 1 truck and 2 trailers - 1/1 only.

    Unladen liability with Gallagher is $21.38/week - BCC/work comp is $31.38/week - $50k Truck (95 Pete) runs $276/month - $115 for a 30k trailer.

    Hope that helps.

You got companies like true north, Ooida (though Landstar might not take Ooida), it doesn’t hurt to shop around. Landstar does not care who you buy your “extra curricular” insurance from.

just remember, when you say insurance, it’s a blanket statement. Out of your 100% to 65% is 1,000,000 general liability (5 mil for haz mat at Landstar), and 100,000 + cargo insurance.

the insurance you seem to speak of is just physical damage, gap insurance, bobtail insurance, and workman’s comp / occupational accident insurance. These insurances do not matter as far as brand or provider when it comes to Landstar.

the big insurances on the other hand, probably only go one way, through the Landstar decided provider. As far as I can tell / know.

    Are you saying 80K worth of equipment is 391.00 total/month? That's like 5.7-5.8 %.

Pay about 30.00 more than that on a brand new truck and reefer trailer.
Need to shop around, should be in the mid-high 2's%, not high 5's%

    Names?

Wonder if that first choice place would do it, or say no because of multiple units.

I know the numbers I've explored getting my own authority, because I'm based in Arizona, the rate is DOUBLE that if I moved the business to say Indiana.

So there is an apples to apples aspect.

Northland, Great West, even OOIDA(PITA with a claim) is less than that. I'm paying for 40+ trucks with Northland so i won't even give my rate. O/O's that use them pay mid 2%, 1000 deductible. O/O's i have that use Great West pay 3.1%, 500.00 deductible, and new windshields once a year.
