Verizon grandfathered unlimited data with FiFox, you can use 100+ GBs and connect wirelessly to 5 devices from your phone at one time.

I did this: HP Envy 17" laptop, HD display, use it for movies when I'm sitting for a while. Awesome. For business I use Verizon signal and a Verizon Elipsis 7" tablet. I download books and other functions, especially the mobile hotspot feature. Pretty dependable, very useful. When I use my tablet, I'm using an encrypted link, so much more secure than a public network. I recommend Verizon, and I don't pay the $35/month, I pay $10 for the added line on the tablet, use it for the mobile hotspot, and accumulate hours on my data plan. I think the $35 was for the dongle method? Best

Whatever you do, don't pay for truckstop internet. It is slow, unreliable, and most importantly, unsecured.

    This.

Mobile hotspots are the way to go if you can get a good deal on data.

One word of advice though, if you do use a computer with it, make sure to throttle down the computer's data usage when hooked up to it. I didn't and my computer used 3GB of my 5GB data plan in 10 minutes to download the Windows 10 upgrade without even asking me (I wanted 10 of course, but I wanted to dl it at home on Wifi).

Verizon has most coverage in US followed closely by ATT. Cricket, using ATT network has a $70/mo unlimited data plan. You can "rent" someone's Verizon Unlimited data plan by searching ebay.

I have t-mobile phone service and verzion jetpack. T-mobile is unlimited but their coverage is spotty. They allow to stream youtube, Netflix and other service without using your data limited and it also work if you hotspot it to your tablet but not sure if it will work for a laptop.

Verzion jetpack was a backup just in case I didn't get service with t-mobile. So my bill is about $120 on t-mobile and like 50 or 80 for verzion.

Cricket Wireless $70 unlimited plan (ATT coverage)
Unlocked Android phone. (Unless you have a jailbroken Iphone it won't work as a hotspot on cricket.)

Unlimited Data with good coverage for $70 a month. Its not perfect but I can always enjoy some netflix or youtube before bed.
(Added bonus for me. It works in canada.)

I tried T-mobile and for myself it wasn't a good option. Not enough coverage where I needed it
    Never tried sprint
Verizon is the best I've seen but it has some areas that are overserved and its very expensive to get unlimited if you don't have a grandfathered plan. (You have to go though 3rd parties.)

Windows updates are always turned off on my laptops on teh truck. It's not like i need the patches to surf the net, watch netflix, and print my logs.

I use the R850 from sprint, works perfect for me. Slow if you like online games. 35.00 a month for 5 gb
