You're not wrong, but from what I've seen over the last decade, more time with a trainer doesn't create a better 'end product '. If they show up with a cdl, then 2vweeks at the yard and one on the road should be plenty - if they have the ability to get their brain out of low gear.Diesel73 Thanks this. -
Way back in the day when I first drove commercially, I spent two weeks in a truck with a trainer, in part driving team, then was turned loose and did fine. If you have a head on your shoulders and an ounce of common sense, two weeks is enough. Some may need more, everyone learns at their own pace.
