Go with a new trainer...if that doesn't work out, then find a new company...don't waste your time..he may just be a bad apple trainer, not all drivers are met to be trainers. And yes, as above said, sometimes a different trainer just clicks right for an upcoming driver. A good company will at times just take that trainer and make him or her go back to driver only status, another words they won't be training anymore, especially if others have complained of the same about him or her. Hang in there, if one pasture doesn't work for you jump to a new pasture with a different shepherd.

After careful thought GTFO of that company.

Please for your own sake and those unknown future lives you just saved by moving to another company. If I was a company and heard your story I would have hired you on the spot. God knows Im not a clean person and have certain things inside of me but you sir... are in a abusive relationship with this Company now. You need to get out. QUICK.

Ive trained people yelled also. But Trainees are valuable and are not to be abused. If I had a bad trainee I will know it within the first day. The worst they do is failing to listen to instruction... Ive been driving Moses over the river and I will not listen to you and your company trainer book. (*That contains all the particulars Trainee needs to learn.) Guess what. Trainee is gone.

But bad trainers? That is truly horrifying and not acceptable at all. Not. Acceptable.

Don't submit to this abuse. Get out. Do it for yourself and your future. Show me that you can move to another Company and possibly do well. Saving a life in the process.

Well OP cannot determine how bad it is for you by just one post. I can say that a lot of these trainers are power hungry nazis that have no business training and only signed up for it so they can bust the balls and intimidate people outside the purview of a superior. If it is that bad for you, you got to get out of the truck and get another trainer or company. But beware, a lot of trainers are like that. Their is no guarantee you will get one any better and intact may be worse.

At the same time we get a lot of trainees here that thing 'training' is actually intended teach you something. It is not. That is just a facade. The company only wants to team with someone long enough to make them some money and assure they can trust handing the keys of a truck and load to you. So you got to decide where you fit in this situation. You ready to drive the truck and just buying time with the trainer, or do expect this guy to teach you anything?
