    Carry a can of brake cleaner and some rags - brake cleaner is awesome at cleaning off nasty stuff quickly so you can see where leaks are coming from.

    Opt for an engine wash if you get a truck wash, easier to see issues if they’re clean(ish)

    No one mentioned the reason for the plastic caps for the battery jump posts. Putting the caps on helps prevent corrosion, particularly on the positive post. Adult learners need to know why you should do things a certain way.
