Wow! I gotta hand it to you for your diligence. I just read that in my home state of Idaho, I could be sent to jail for the weekend to await the judge on Monday for being 4K lbs. or more over... Although my company pays my fine for being overweight, I'll definitely think twice the next time I run too heavy in hopes that I won't get caught...

This was years ago before people started the BBW lies.

 

It might seem farfetched but I have made several trips over the years to bail a driver out over a lack of a proper permit. I went with my father to South Carolina back in the late 60s to get a driver out of the Richland County Jail after he got stopped for speeding. Back then you had to pay the fine as bail before you could leave.
