I always post that they are closed when open and open when closed.

Then list 100s of open spots at capacity stops.

    Just because.

I use it when determining where I will stop for the night, and if that place is a dump. Often you’ll find small out of the way places that are great that you’d never find otherwise. I’ll also check the scales on certain routes when there’s more than one way to the destination. The small pull-out “scales” are only open around here when they want to do inspections on everyone who comes by, and I like to avoid he 45 minute friendly courtesy check when I can. Ain’t nobody got time for that!

It's not intelligence. It's trolling. They want someone to be captured by the coop and inspected to OOS and a mound of tickets.

I once was caught fair and square by NY State near Binghampton in a random opened inspection in the rest area. I did not complain or whine. They had me dead to rights. Something about 250 in fines and CSA etc I paid it instantly and moved on down the road with my life once that OOS sticker came off the windshiled in front of my steering wheel.

Hunts Point, DOT used to inspect outbounds in the street outside the fence. Used to be you were parked in that one side fence where some of us waited to dock in the morning and the DOT would be opposite in the street inspecting groups of 4 to 6 trucks at a time.

Ive been in hunts point all my life and even today I am convinced it's not a very good place. You can lose alot of money if you don't watch it with those greedy mutts.

I don't think that all the reviews of the chicken coups are false. Even if they alternate open and closed. I've gone by many chicken coups where trucker path showed it as open, I saw the sign said closed but there were 5 trucks waiting to cross the scales. I left the status as "open" because as soon as it clears it would open again, but had I updated the status based on the sign I saw, I would have put "closed" and been accurate. But a minute later the scales clear and open again and thus someone would update the status as "open."

I wonder how many trial attorneys use threads like this where supposedly "professional" drivers brag about ducking with an app rolling down the road.

IMHO if that person is caught it should be a lifetime ban on any class of license.

Certainly after a fatality crash, lawyers will have discovery access to the trucker's phone and records to be able to match any app use on the phone against their electronic driving records to determine if the phone was used at the same time the driver was on the Drive line.....

We are not too far away from the FMCSA mandating that a video camera being placed on the dash pointing at all commercial drivers while driving because despite regulation forbidding electronic communication device holding and manipulation, drivers are still doing it illegally every day. So, drivers, put your phone down while driving!

A while back Trucker Path was advocating 16 hours per day total over the 14 we now have. They said the 2 additional hours would help drivers who get held up at grocery warehouses and such. What a crock. I immediately removed the app from my phone.
