My dad drove a K100 in the early 80s that had a problem with the pump. It would shut off in an overrun situation. As we lived in Southern California, many runs were up through the Grapevine. Coming down, he'd have to give it throttle about 1/2 a mile before the speed limit went back to normal in order to get fuel back in the injector line.fargonaz Thanks this.

Well, most of us can't speak for the 80's.

I didn't get my regular license till 82. 20 years later i got my cdl. -
I was beginning to think I was the only one who did this.
