NE is brick Country. Cement too. Coplay PA comes to mind as does Capital in Martinsburg WVa etc.

It's not boring. If you are REALLY bored with flatbedding, then by all means take up reefer or dry van work and enjoy being abused on the dock lumping #### after you get there.... if they let you unload.

You I think have other issues in life overall, maybe you need a wife.. or chase someone, get laid or something different. Get going. Stop being bored and complaining about it. LOL.

Try doubles on the same 1500 mile route, teaming - for 7 years. Same gate times . . .

It's a means to an end - we found the end.

    Yes - it gets boring.

If it's getting boring find something new to haul. I started out pulling a van for a year and got bored with the same box following me around all the time. So I moved to hauling glass on a flatbed. After a year of just that I got bored again so I moved on.

Now I haul mostly water pumps, electric motors, and steam turbine/generator parts. Every now and then we get something different. I enjoy this stuff because it's always something different. Every load is a new adventure in trying to figure out how I'm going to attach it to the deck. Some loads are a simple 4 point with chains and roll. Other times I empty the chain box and all of my straps and I still don't have enough. Very rarely do we haul the same thing twice.

The money is also a good incentive.;)

In the LTL sector we have a lot of repetition. While that isn't everyone's cup of tea, I personally find a bit of security in the predictable.

That's what I didn't like about it, that and the herd environment.

The herd environment I've since learned to tune out, because stupid loves company and negativity will spread faster than cancer that invaded the lymph system.

I waited a long time for the run I have, and don't want any parts of anything else save perhaps the occasional saturday run I can manage to pry away from one of the favorites.

I have turned down some offers on loads that run regularly.....I like different stuff every day .....and every week is a surprise! I could make more money I suppose but as of now I enjoy the ever changing loads and lanes of being a bunch of brokers bee itch.

I meant when a couple of people are screwing up the whole group gets punished instead of just dealing with the problem people.

    Oh... Dummy.

That's not a real big problem here, thankfully. I know why it goes on, but I'm not allowed to say that.
