    Just talked to my recruiter Friday at swift and she wanted to set me up for millington school but i have other commitments to the family so probley wont go until aug - she didn't mention anything to me about school stoppage.

    I saw the same message about freight. I ended up sitting for the entire weekend, which is a first for me. Now I know for next year - plan to stay home the week of July 4 holiday.

    Sure does seem to have slowed down, or maybe its cause I'm in the midwest and not east but they have had me run mt almost 1000 miles in the last week.Today my DM msg's me and tells me I'm 7th in line for a load, 30 minutes later I get a preplan to DH 560mi to AR from Rock Island,IL.

    That's one of those fill out one app and it goes to dozens of trucking company sites isn't it? Just because THEY aren't doing apps for Swift doesn't mean Swift isn't hiring or taking apps themselves.
