If you want a job with federal express- i recommend their parcel delivery job- small truck-daily deliveries-home every night- 70k salary with benefits.

    2 different animals completely-

as opposed to their freight linehaul positions where they are all running around with their heads cut off

    dennisroc and SoCalRed Thank this.

Someone once told me that FedEx basically requires their drivers to use excess speed to get the job done. Haven't been able to confirm it, but the number of them that blow my doors off and practically force me to take up the granny shoulder to avoid their wildly waving ### ends seems to imply that there's a certain amount of truth to it

Sounds more like lack of experience. Just because you work for these companies don't make you a better driver.

A long time ago, a memory long dusty and stored reminded me of a Fed Ex Facility near Baltimore Md on the beltway. At right about 5:35 dozens flood into the beltway at top speed whatever the trucks will give them. Im usually at 100 in the middle lane with 5 or so with me. The herd of little delivery trucks get broken up and flow by on both sides like a water river around a rock.

It's been a very long time since those good old days.

As far as computer parts and other parts or items of a delicate nature, I pay to have it flown to either Little Rock or Memphis. It's usually at my door 14 to 16 hours after I order it next day.

This one video is pretty epic. The last part though is a form of combat. He wont be screwing with the big rigs again in this lifetime.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

Self Insured to at least 250,000 Cheaper than to pay a insurance company for coverage etc.

So if you get run over by a raindeer or a Semi 18 wheeler in this case, you already know you and your lawyer will get at least 250,000 out of the defendants in settle ment long before this sees light of day in trial.

Don't forget i generally carry about a million in Personal Liability but that bit of information is not disclosed unless it has to be.
