    Shorter isn't always better.

    I had the trip from hell this week. Boss, MO
    Hour and half to go 57 miles. Zero traffic.

    The real treat came when I cut 47 miles off the route, by taking Hwy 90/115 out of Pocohontas, AR from there it was all downhill......and dispatch had already authorized the additional miles.

    Adding to the confusion...no fewer than 5 signs for the business on 5 other driveways....leading to other parts of the mine, miles apart. And NO clue which was the correct one. And NO cell phone service !!!!

    Dance I can definately feel for ya there man. I had a load going across Arkansas with all state highway driving in the Ozarks. for 8 hours I think I might have managed 40mph. I had my mirrors pushed in several times by rock face, trees, and other trucks. 1 steer on the track, the other on the zipper the entire time. Sometimes the most beautiful scenery of all is a sign that says I-#
