Is this email from FMCSA real?

I’m assuming your audit was done by your state DOT like mine. My first interaction for my audit was with a Florida state trooper (he called my phone number on file) and everything else via email.

I have never been contacted via phone or emailed directly from fmcsa.

 

We are not a 3rd party trying to sell you something???
Warning,Warning!! I doubt they would send a email,and not a Letter.

 

It’s looks very legit, however the email address should be fmcsa.dot.gov. It’s a scam.

 

Update your mcs150 with a bogus phone number and fake email address. The spam will slow tremendously. The FMCSA will contact you via snail mail.

 

Call your state DOT office.
they’re the ones who do audits here.
