If you don't stay with them what's the pay off amount?
-
The downtime pay you received with the first trainer is your answer.

Its only 14 days. That could seem like a life time. But its only 14 days. Knock it out. Get in your own company truck. And if you have questions ask those around you.
Some people are trainers because it pays more. Not because they are good at it.
Just knock it out and move on. Once training is done don't leave this box unchecked. Give the trainer a full review of thier services. Help them get better.tscottme Thanks this. -
Thats the best way to go. At least 30 to 36 months. And don't worry about higher truck prices most of it is all relative. Meaning the prices are high because the rates are high and people can afford them. If the rates come down so won't the prices.tscottme Thanks this.

Sorry for the delayed response. If I stay 6 months I owe $3k and if I leave early it's $5700.

Unfortunately I don't get my own truck, I have to find a co-driver for teaming.

Yes the company(DM) did pay me layover pay. $100 per day.Keepforgettingmypassword and tscottme Thank this.

The training period is the most difficult & frustrating portion of most truck driver's career. It is usually better to just get through the training period, no matter how difficult, than to quit or start over at another company. Good luck, keep calm.Delanshev and Keepforgettingmypassword Thank this.

Why you got to find one? And why did you go there knowing you had to team?Keepforgettingmypassword Thanks this.
