How long is the DOT going to let this continue before the M endorsement is required?
DoneYourWay, Lepton1, Getsinyourblood and 1 other person Thank this. -
Wow. And the scary thing is that for the past month and a half I've been loaded down with watermelon for various Walmart stores running out of the distribution center in Tomah,Wisconsin. Haven't lost one yet though.
tucker, Getsinyourblood and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
Hauling watermelons should at least require tanker endorsement.
Lepton1 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
Well obviously your a qualified watermelon hauler, and would have no problem getting your endorsement.
I run produce out of a DC, and carry them in mixed loads 5 days a week.
That photo I posted of the dropped trailer was at our DC last week, watermelons. One of our guys ( terminated ) dropped another one 2 days later, almost in the exact same spot, watermelons. The carnage is just unbelievable, it's amazing there are any on the shelves.
