I pretty much did hahaha.. I spent a good hour trying to get it out ended up plying wood under my tires and then gunned it spitting up sand everywhere. Atleast the view was nice.. it was were a creek met the ocean.. couple girls doing yoga in the background. Really enbarrising so when I got in stuck I hauled ### out of there

 

The moral of my story? Just because you see tire tracks going somewhere don't think your rental car can make it too even with 4x4


I'm grateful I didn't get another moving violation for leaving the roadway ha

I've driven through sandstorms outside, Vegas... That count ??

 

Iraq? One of dozens I drove in. We were coming back from Mosul and didn't make it back to base. One of the men on the radio later died from injuries that he received on convoy two years later. I believe he was also filming the sandstorm.
