JB Hunt Doubling fleet order

One of my friends just got hired by JB Hunt to run Amazon account. Plus they offered him 10k sign on bonus paid over 10 month period

 

I’m actually glad to see JB Hunt get into Amazon. Where does Amazon find these knuckle dragging nit wits that comprise 90% of their contractor fleet? Pure trash......

 

They do seem to be consistently low skill, selfish #######es.

 

You would have to be a bottom of the barrel driver to willingly work at a place that regularly delivered to Amazon DCs

I had a backhaul to one last summer. 10 hours of misery

Where do you think JB Hunt will get their elite drivers to run their their added trucks? From the Moon...that's where.

 

I really don’t know why anyone would subject themselves to that. The one in southeast Dallas on I20 has trucks stacked 3 wide and 10 deep, then single file around the block. All day long.

 

I’m pretty sure I’d dirt nap myself if it came down to that...

 

That is the exact one I had to deliver to. The worse part is that you have to remain alert and in the drivers seat the whole time you are on that line. It was 3-4 hours just to get through that line and I had to keep watching for the trucks to move up, so I would follow.

It’s bad enough when you are stuck at a receiver are at least able to doze off or watch a movie in your sleeper.

 

All I see when I see a JB is a white Freightliner in the right lane more times than not minding their own. Some of the things you see Amazon contractors do on the road and right here in the accident forum are mind boggling.
