I have heard through a friend that they are buying log trailers. One small manufacturer sold them 11 and the buyer said they were buying from several different manufacturers. Anyone else hear of this?
Their into everything nowadays where ever the money calls they will listen. It is always great to have diversity in business. If one stream dries up you pack up & move to the next one.
Nothing new here. JB Hunt has been hauling logs here in north Louisiana for a few years. Paper mill here in West Monroe, La & JB Hunt has a yard right across the road with probably 20 trucks & log trailers.
I saw a JB Hunt pulling a chicken trailer which shocked me. Usually them chicken guys be hauling butt so knew something was odd when I came up to one chilling at 60mph on the interstate. Forgot what state it was in.
I’m in South Ms, a lot of logging around me and I have a lot of family in it one way or another. Just never saw it. Thanks
