Companies have been requiring lumper receipts for decades. If not, they take it out your pay. Companies I worked for had blank receipts for us to fill in for lumper services. So if some lumper company didnt or refused to give me a receipt, I just filled out my own. Never a problem.

yep same here except i no longer trust carriers to be honest enough to allow you to write a receipt with no signature or employer EIN number (tax ID) affixed. Simply writing a receipt doesn't mean a driver isn't being nefarious and still keeps the driver liable. There are way too many carriers and employees of carriers looking to save or make money off of drivers not paying attention. There are plenty of payroll stories over the years that verify these types of issues happening.

Ah..Yes good ole JBS meat facilities. IN MY OPINION JBS and others like BNSF Railroad companies are a mob type owned business. Very seldom do they get fined-punished and they get away with some gnarly stuff. BNSF even pulls strings with police officers/detectives to ignore any abuse that happens to a person while in their property. But that's another story :biggrin_25512:

I wish I had a dollar for every time I dropped a trailer at JBS in Greeley and then had to bobtail down to the only truck stop in town and pray there was someplace to park. At least they had hot food.

Yes, now that he's retired he probably has time on his hands for this sort of adventure. Big Maude would probably subcontract this sort of light work to him anyways.

Hell, I'm busier now than when I worked. Who knew golf and fishing could take up so much time? But, you're right. They'll have more troubles then they can count if Big Maude comes calling.
