I Delivered steel tube to JD in Ankeny Iowa and was prepared to back my flatbed into another dark abyss… not here though . JD has you pull straight into the building for unloading and then back out when unloaded. Wow was that so easy with the daylight behind letting you see what’s there you as you back out.
just a new driver’s thoughts on the matter
John Deere made delivering easy

Backing into a black hole is not as bad as it sounds. A little practice and you’ll get used to it.
You gotta have faith.OLDSKOOLERnWV, TripleSix, singlescrewshaker and 2 others Thank this. -
Black holes aren’t bad until they add the catwalks you cant see either
And while Im whining let me add that lines on the pavement are a myth!Oxbow, singlescrewshaker, cke and 1 other person Thank this. -

It may surprise some, but even the multi axles have to load at places where you have to back into a loading bay. Lock the stinger, and back her in.D.Tibbitt, beastr123, cke and 1 other person Thank this. -
I think one of my favorite black holes to back into (of course I'm being 100% facetious) was Chicago Metallic down off 49th and Austin on Southside Chicago. It's just one large awning with several dock doors...but the docks themselves are caddy-cornered from an intersection, so you constantly caught guys running all up the curb on the other side doing their best to "guess" where the back of that skateboard was going...because you couldn't even see the dock doors until you were halfway under the awning.
As silly as it may sound, that was one place that may have actually been easier to back into when other trucks were already there...at least you could then see between their noses what spot you were to aim for...Nahbrown Thanks this. -
I always walk in and make sure nothing is laying in the floor first, and get a mental picture of what’s back there…,
