that place I think one needs to roll in there by 2pm everytime I roll in there later than that its full and a zoo.....

and a mud pit is an understatement, but you know what parking there is there if TA decides to redo the parking area they will probably lose about 1/2 the spaces they have in there now...

think I am going have to try the Arrowhead? (cant remember if that is the name or not) but its the truckstop before getting to JC. Kinda a pain to get in there and out of there by the looks of things..

I've noticed that the Shell station @ exit 240 has the best fuel prices the past 12 months.
JC has good food and friendly people but non of it is worth stopping for as their parking situation is dire. Too many locals use in for their yard/terminal. Paying customers can't find a place to park. I NEVER stop there anymore.

When I was in there late last year, after the Petro bought it, but before they changed any signage. The guy who was working the deli/take-out side said Petro is indeed screwing with the food prep. They were only suppose to do the fuel and the c-store, but they have changed things in the kitchen as well. He said they have a lot of stuff cooked ahead in the interest of faster customer service. He said there are a lot of non-trucking locals that use to frequent the resturant that have complained and stopped coming in because the quality just isn't the same. He said if they ever screw with the sweet rolls, they may as well close the doors.

I never tried the cinnamon rolls but I certainly wouldn't recommend this place.
Gravel lot that fills up by noon, and then people start making their own spaces, lining the connecting roads, hampering visibility and access getting in and out, etc.
I won't be going back for any reason.
Denver sucks for parking but I always know I can pay for a spot at one of the TA's if I have to.
    Those never fill up.
Thankfully so many of my fellow drivers are so cheap and arrogant they'll park where they clearly shouldn't rather than pay 13 bucks.

I've never tried their cinnamon rolls either, the food is ok , right now its a dust pit and packed but managed to get a normal parking spot.. a few others rolled in after and parked where ever.. I've been stopping here since I started doing otr.. I'm glad they're here but I think they're a tad over rated.. Doesn't matter, I'll stop in regardless

This is the best pic I could get
