I'm just really not liking the idea of these lightweight trucks. I might call the recruiter and tell him I'm going a different direction. Also trucks are slow. Governed at 58mph 62 cruise I believe?

A friend just completed his TNT, he requested a condo, and was given one as a company driver. He said it is up to you if you want one, Prime prefers you take a lightweight, but they will give you a condo. He did have to wait 2 days for one to become available, which he thinks was Prime was trying to convince him to take the lightweight as he had to pay for the hotel room everynight he waited, and his FM wanted him on the road ASAP.

And what you forget is with driving that slow you'll get your fuel bonus each week.

Will make .05 cpm less in condo, also.
    $5-6,000 less a year.

Quite a chunk of change over a year.

But, if money is not an issue..... just hold out for one or come up with a good reason. (I.E. living in truck, family coming out & riding frequently, etc......).

How many actually collect the full amount of the fuel bonus? The rate I was sent is .0825 cpm. Ne mention of a sliding scale, but I bet it does slide, and will guess most see maybe .02-.03 at best, rarely if ever would anyone see the .0825.

My 3rd of last student hits the max fuel bonus nearly every single week in a condo.

I wish they would bump up to 65 like Schaffer just did.
