Hello, this is my second thread, my first was about which Freightliner I should buy. Where should I start... Lets see, I started driving a semi truck at the age of 6, hauled hay from a field to a farm. at the age of 13 I was allowed to drive by myself. Now I am almost old enough to obtain a CDL, and I plan to work for a Company until I can get my own (that's what the whole Freightliner thing was about). I currently have the ability to go to college and become an aerospace engineer due to my grades and the type of things I like to do, but my family cant afford that. So I will have to earn my way in through trucking, which is really all I want to do in the first place. never really cared about the idea of an aerospace engineer, however I am great at inventing and designing things. I just finished designing an ultralight aircraft, but am once again underfunded. I would like to always be a trucker, but maybe have a career as an aerospace engineer or something. My other two jobs that I would be good at were pilot and, of course, truck driver. About the only other question that I have that wasn't already answered through previous research before I found this wonderful forum would be "What southeastern truck company is best for beginners" , but I may find that out by myself. I would love to be long haul trucker. Engineering would be my hobby, I guess. It already is, so I don't see why I couldn't make a little extra money that way, I'm currently trying to. That's just one of my gifts I have. I think of something I want and come up with a way to make it work. Or other things are designed by accident. I guess for most people its the other way around. I also enjoy playing games from time to time, including Rig N' Roll, and euro truck simulator 2, 18 wheels of steel extreme trucker, Microsoft flight simulator X, and War Thunder. Though I do spend relatively little time on games. If anyone would like to make a recommendation on which of the three trucks i should buy (This is the thread http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...s/234607-which-freightliner-should-i-buy.html) You are more than welcome to do so, I Thank you greatly! This thread is a little confusing, so I'll just go ahead and tell you that the debate was between the Freghtliner Century, Columbia, and Coronado. Once again, Thank You. -Joshua
