Sunday at 3:00 pm was the last time i ate or drank anything until today, Wednesday at 1:20 pm. For over 70 hours I ate nothing, no supplements or any of that stuff. Throughout the entire thing I was never hungry or thirsty, I kept urinating several times a day and felt great the entire time.

I started slowly drinking some water earlier on Wednesday to get myself ready to eat a little bit later that day. If your body is used to burning fat for energy instead of carbohydrates then your body can easily burn up fat and glycogen to create metabolic water. So by not drinking any liquid, your body burns extra fat just for the water, and a side effect is the huge amount of energy and healing that goes on. For over a month I had pain and stiffness in my left knee from injuring it, after the three days of dry fasting, it is now completely gone.

I am not that young anymore, will be 50 in a little bit, but ever since I started this lifestyle of a low carbohydrate, medium protein, and high fat diet, I feel better now than when I was in my 20s.

If you have any chronic conditions and would love to live without ever having to take a medication or even bother to see a doctor, consider cutting out all the processed foods and sugar in your life. Beef, Eggs, and Butter are the three main things i eat everyday.

Interesting. How long did you go on the low carb high fat diet before you started fasting?

I'm not fat or unhealthy (yet), but turning 40 this year and really starting to think about this stuff more seriously.

I heard alot of people find they feel amazing after fasting... me personally I get low blood sugar and become nauseous and have to eat or I will pass out... I am not a fat boy either. 6ft 190 pounds.. I just need to eat atleast once a day.
I do find myself feeling better with eating less than I used to.

^ this. Ive had people tell me to fast and sure i can cut my calories a good bit. But more then 14 hours without food and i feel like hammered #### and everything feels much more distant for days after. Also tend to get some nasty cramps too....

But everyones bodys and needs are diffrent tbh.

Switching to the op's diet, which is basically keto, takes away any hunger pains, and makes your body burn fat for energy, which is what your body is storing fat for anyway, it is just with a high carb diet, your body has enough carbs for energy and the carbs it does not use get stored as fat. The american food pyramid was brought out to promote seriously high carb intakes, most of the reason they did that is to supplement farming and to keep people farming after the great depression, also high carb food is cheap and easy to produce. When I am on the road I eat one meal a day, and pretty much fast for the rest of the day. I however drink a ton of water, at least a gallon a day, have never tried to not drink water, but feel I wouldn't feel right without being completely hydrated. Might try the no water thing one day when I am not driving, feel like I would be super light headed without drinking it.
