Yea that's a good possibility on some some stuff, but that doesn't explain putting the starter under the intake manifold on the northstar/Cadillac motors, that's engineers who couldn't go to a toolbox and pick out a wrench.

A lot of Freightliners do that too.

Of all the things that annoy me out here,.. I think that one small nit pick thing,.. the brake lights coming on every time the driver lets off the gas and the jake comes on.

For me,.. I go into back off mode and get ready to brake myself when ever I see brake lights. So when you constantly see brake lights coming on and off,.. on and off,.. on and off,.. you know in the back of your mind you cant let this take you off your "A" game,.. if he really hits his brakes,. you still need to be alert and prepared for it.

For me its a lot like that insurance commercial where the guy has the fishing pole with a dollar on the hook and the girl is jumping for it,... "Ooooh,... you almost had it" LOL

I figured this one out a few months ago, Couldn't figure out why a Mega Fleet driver was tapping his brakes on a slight slope. I almost stuck my foot in my mouth over the CB. Those areas i was lifting off also using the engine brake.

Asking a few more drivers about that to make sure wasn't insane with my theory, YUP brakes lights come on during engine brake. Kinda Annoying

One of the times it honked is when I was inside the truck so I must have opened the door. I wasn't aware of that.

What's even more infuriating is if I'm using a high wattage appliance, and the battery voltage is low, it will cut off power like it should. However, if I enable the Auto start, it won't start the engine to charge the battery. That and the fact the windows won't roll down when the key is in the ACC position is really frustrating.

Dude I've been saying it for years kenworrths are crappy! Why you think it always takes them so long to get up you into the shop? It's cuz they wanna make more money fixing them then selling them! Get a freightliner.

I saw that for the first time on mine the other day in Colorado and couldn’t figure out WTF was going on with my brake lights.

Yes, get a Freightliner so they WILL make more money fixing it than they did selling it.
