I hit that pothole before and as soon as I saw it I looked in the mirror to see if I could avoid it. Unfortunately the left lane was occupied and I hit it pretty hard. Tax dollars used for something besides road maintenance.

I-39 southbound maybe 20 miles before Bloomington there's one (actually like 3 consecutive ones) I hit about a year ago and it broke the input shaft to the power divider and cost me a weeks down time at the dealer!!!

I-40 in NM and AZ has some pretty nasty potholes that don't look that bad until you hit them because they are more like dents in the road than missing pavement. Shook my GPS off it's holder twice this time through.

was it actual holes or the section im thinking of where the concrete slabs have separated and sunk? I came thru there the other day and it was improved but I seem to remember last year or so around that area was really bad in the right lane

Those are the worst, when the slabs are all different levels, makes for some bumpy rides

Those are real common. On 55 north of Memphis near the Arkansas line it will beat your kidneys out. It's a 30 mile stretch and I won't go over 45 mph.

Shreveport will still rattle a truck apart in a heartbeat on 20. Understandable for their roads to be so deteriorated with how brutal their winters are ya know
