Well J FROG... u just have to do what u have to do. U wont be missed because Knight just like other companies hires new people everyday. You still are going on off of what you read in posts instead of finding out for yourself. If it goes through... you work for Knight for a while to see how it goes, and if it doesn't work out move on. That's what I tell drivers in the breakroom at my Atlanta terminal that comes through complaining. I say if you're not happy, then why are you still here? There's plenty of other companies out there. It depends on your relationship with your dispatcher, and your attitude because your attitude determines your altitude. I've made good money as a company driver for 8 years, and making a lot more as an owner operator for the past year.

This dude JFROG. SLOW?
-
Does it matter what I am? I still work for Knight, and know them like the back of my hand. That's what happens when you've been with a company sooooo long.
-
Knight sure is generating a lot more buzz than Celadon ever did. We are still talking about something that hasn't happened. USA is resisting right now so it could be a pretty hairy process. If they were in agreement then the transaction would happen sooner. Knight has almost a billion in revs so buying USA would be a 50% increase.
-
USA MANAGEMENT is resisting. So now we have to wait and see what the stockholders want to do. Sell or don't sell. But management is nothing. They're just trying to hold on to their jobs.

Not hardly. AND I can even spell Psyched, not siked...lol

RetiredSarge Thanks this. -
I'm done responding to JFROG because I see the type of person he is. He's just mad because what I said 2 months ago came to light. So last word to you JFROG. If you're feeling FROGGY.... then jump.
-
USA truck can only last for so long operating in the red...there days are numbered to say the least.
-
Some people just don't get it. Knight isn't really interested in more drivers, dispatchers, trucks, trailers or mechanics. With 242 million dollars I'm sure they could buy just a few more of those. What they are really after is to eliminate competition and enlarge their customer base. They don't give a rats butt about USA drivers. There are many USA customers that you never see a red swift truck at. USA is making a come back, losses are diminishing, the company is becoming leaner and meaner. And Knight wants to stop their growth before they can't.
4thgenerationtommy and RetiredSarge Thank this. -
JFROG. You seem to be a good driver and a good trainer. They won't be changing the logos on any USA equipment. Just when it gets retired it will be replaced with Knight equipment.
