I just wish some trucking company would hire DNA and or Trucker Dave so they might get over Knight staving them out and or kicking them to the curb. What the heck did you two do to get blackballed for so long
Neither one of you have worked for Knight in awhile. So move on and let some fresh meat that Knight gave the axe to have a go. Both of you have had only about a 1000 posts to try to put them out of business and they have only increased in size since your first post on them. And paid out the 3rd highest dividend in trucking![]()

I wonder if Swift is hiring?

I have posted this before but apparently you missed it.
When Knight fired me for making the shipping clerk at Nestle in Dekalb cry IT WAS THE BEST THING THEY EVER DID TO ME!
I finally had the time to find another job and I did!
I worked for 15 months at Panera bread, delivering fresh dough. Home EVERY night and making almost $1000 a week. I only worked 10-11 hours a day and WENT THE HELL HOME.
FYI, exactly 1 year and 1 day after Knight fired me, my dickspatcher called up and OFFERED ME MY OLD JOB BACK!!!
That job led me to my current job. I drive a spotter truck 8 hours a day now, with OVERTIME IF I WORK MORE THAN 8 HOURS A DAY!
I have moved onto to bigger and better things. The reason I stay on Knight's case is I want people to know that they can do way better than Knight!!!!!!!!!!Last edited: Apr 13, 2011

There is another post on here about Knight being in the middle of a lawsuit. For BIG money. I wouldn't go to work for them until it was cleared up.

Well I worked for Knight Refrigerated and grant you I would "NOT" go back to them if they offered me $1.00 a mile and every week-end off as a company driver.. They make alot of promises to suck you in and then after they get you it's bend over "HERE IT COMES"!!!!!!!!! Look out for those so called promises they offer....

Isn't it amazing how many people think that's just they way it is. They shrug their shoulders and bend over instead of calling them out and standing up. This job's standards are lowered by companies like Knight.
I just did a nice Dallas to Seattle load followed by a Sumner Wa to Irving Tx load in 7 days. How long would it take Knight to run me 4500 miles...2 weeks...a month? Whose got time for them to find their heads and spew out all of their BS about how "they have so many drivers and so few loads in that current market"
Then your DM has to do a "favor" to get you out of there. Forget all of that, I prefer to run independent of all of the politics and BS. I have two goals GET MILES GET HOME! Schneider had no problems with that when I started driving. Knight failed miserably and now I do it for someone I know personally. Keep digging guys the jobs are out there.

Knight Ref went to electronic logs. You cannot move your truck for 10 hrs (or) your 10 hr break will restart. No shower, no food, no truckstop. Just waiting in the cab all day. With ele logs the good loads go to the teams so you end up unloading trailers for teams. Team drop & hook Wa. to Chi. You get load, takes 3 days to unload at 120 miles a day. Then you get another trailer from the team to unload. 3 more days of misery.

Yes, with elogs, a driver does have to be able to pull his head out of his ### and think a little bit.
"No shower, no food, and no truckstop." Ever heard of trip planning? Your post just shows how ignorant you really are.
And elogs are probably coming to all trucks, so this is not a Knight specific post.Surfer Joe and bigblue19 Thank this. -
As does your post.

No, you are, all you do is come on this board and post negative crap on a company that fired you long ago. You couldn't make it, so give it up.
As to my comment on the above post, I stand by it. If a driver can't stand up for him/herself, and/or think far enough ahead to avoid what is in the quote, then maybe they should apply for a french-frying job at McDonald's.Surfer Joe Thanks this.
