Soooooo, does the username 'bigblue' stand for a Swift driver? When I went thru Knight orientation, about 50% of the 30+ drivers in my class were former Swift drivers, me having worked at a Swift o/o company (DSW) for several years. And Knight may look good to a Swift driver, who is used to driver abuse and being disrespected, and being treated as a brainless child....
hey bulldog979, i talked with a recruiter a while back & he actually made sense. after i answered a few of his questions, he actually told me that i would be better off staying where i'm at. knight just couldn't promise some things that was offered to me. with just my hometime alone, he wouldn't guarantee it!
One thing about Swift, when I carried their trailers....their terminals were at least habitable, & not just unpaved drop yards with some having only porta-potties (Aurora after hours) like many of Knight's. Knight puts the bare minimum into a new yard, just in case they tick off too many of their customers in that area and have to leave...
Knight is the absolute worst and as soon as they find out they have an honest recruiter they will "fix" that little problem.
He was obviously a brand-new driver turned recruiter...or...one whose conscious had gotten to him and he is ready to jump ship!
