Knight Transportation

You are wasting your time. Sit back, relax, and just observe. Especially when those that were just hired will be ready to dismiss your experience anyway. Here is some rude info snipped from the other thread:

So, can you see? Those that have actually worked for Knight are spewing "BS" according to someone that was just hired. Don't you just get really excited paying attention to know-it-alls and company suck ups? DNA, come sit with me in the bleachers and just observe. You are wasting your time. Besides, that just makes more seats available at the good smaller companies, duh!

 

Anytime you pull unempolyed trailer park trash out of the barn and give him a driver job, of course, he's gonna love the 1st company that hire's him..

that's cool, but you cant warn these drivers, that love their companys, about how their getting shafted.... the fools dont want to hear it or admit that your right

This is just another example of another person wanting to make an honest living and due to a company NOT CARING has to waste time and money finding a company to work for that does care about their employees. It sucks big time. I hope you find another company that will treat you like you deserve to be treated.

 

just graduated from squire to Knight...lets see how everything goes.....

 

I heard from a driver a few months ago that Steve Cota was gone and Randy was the terminal manager now. I sure do hope that's true, for the sake of the drivers. Randy always took care of the trucks when he ran the shop and Steve was sure to steal every last dollar he could from the drivers. Not sure how long you've been there but I'll tell you that Mike Dawid, Debbie, Kevin Anderson, and Asian Kevin are on your side. Debbie and Kevin have been with Knight since they started the terminal. But despite their best efforts, other terminals managed to drop my income by about 10k in 2009. Catering to their idiot "too crappy for OUR terminals drivers" customers.

 

It pretty much comes down to tolerance level 999. If your looking for a $1000 a week, not gonna happen at Knight. Most of us just get tired of the 200 miles here 300 there bs while constantly hearing theres no freight while the pump new guys out like processed beef.

 

If he provides the dates it would change nothing about your response to him,u would only ask who told him or some other question trying to defend Knight.I hear horror stories about them frequently,and try to shape my opinion of them through the consistencies of the stories I hear over time,by people who don't know each other(can't conspire to tell the same lie).U don't know he is lying and he could well be telling the truth.

 

Randy was named divsion mgr back in april 2010. He sure is one great division mgr. He doesn't take crap from other terminals screwing any driver from katy on loads.
