    I will add this.

I have seen and talked to disgruntle drivers before that work for knight why I was stopped in the yard from time to time. They are out there and for one reason or another had a bad experience with the company. Over my time here I have noticed it to be tied to some terminals tho I wont name them that's where alot of it seems to come from.

I really think my experience has been positive due to the Terminal and the Management I have. I also work for the Refrigerated side of the company not the Dry side (2 sep company's with sep management) So that could be it also.

All I do know is I'm content with where I am for now and just wanted to let people know why. Every company has there crap, You just have to find one that you can deal with said crap and they can deal with yours.

Oh, you rotten liar!! Haven't you read the stuff where guys who quit or were fired 5 years ago have complaints? Surely one or two or three guys who have an axe to grind know more than you or I?

People can believe whatever they would like, I was just stating my experience with Knight. Also people have to take negative feedback on the web with a grain of salt people that are happy are just that. They do there job and go on about there life, the unhappy ones are the ones trolling the internet looking for a place to vent. Only reason I found this post at all is because I happened apwn it why I was board. otherwise I never would of seen it as I have yet to have a complaint my self.

Anyways Time to hit the road and drop this load then screw off for the day in Phoenix. Anyone in the yard there is welcome to come beat on my truck and say Hi! why I'm there ill be on the referside hooked to a R514 TLR (Should be easy to find as I will prob be the only one with that new of a tlr there, Tho I could be wrong lol)

While it is true that some people who post here do so just to vent and may even stretch the truth at times, BUT, if you take the time to read all the threads about Knight and Knight Refrigerated and the same complaints keep coming up from several different posters.....

THERE MUST BE SOMETHING TO THESE COMPLAINTS!!!

I FIND IT DIFFICULT TO DISREGARD SO MANY PEOPLE WHO KEEP SAYING THE SAME THINGS.

Don't just take my word for it, read all the threads and you will see the pattern of abuse become very evident.

Typing in really big letters and bold font doesn't amke your point any more valid then the other drivers who post on the board. The "something to those complaints" is something called the "reality of the job" and some people are just not cut out for it for any number of reasons. Doesn't make them bad people or invalidait arguments, just like their opinions and experience don't weigh more then drivers who have not had a problem on the road and/or more patient for the reality of the gig. So you spoke your mind once, we got the idea, no need to keep posting up about it as like you said the patterns both good and bad show themselves. Trolling is when you do what you like to do and go around trumpeting "look at me and my story of what happened" at every chance. That's not trying to help that is being self-important.

Not cut out for this job? I disagree, I had nothing but good times at Schneider and have a very positive expieriance the past three years at my current employer. Knight was good for a year or so but as soon as they started training it went downhill fast. Fighting for miles, earned pay, etc...it gets exhausting.

Again, I'm not at all discounting anyone's experience at all, I'm just adding my experience to the mix and my time with Knight. Any company you work for is going to have issues it's whether you can deal with those issues or not, that's what makes your experience what it is.

Also just on another note, Knight has over 3500 Dry trucks and just over 700 Refer trucks. This makes 4200 Drivers there is going to be people that have bad experience especially in the trucking industry. There are also going to be people that have good experiences. I was just pointing out the people that have the bad experiences are just more likely to go post about it then people that are happy with what they are doing.

Again I think Good management plus a good terminal makes all the difference.

    Edit.
On the note of Miles from the last post I don't struggle or compete for miles, Maybe its just the relationship I have with my DM I don't know but my miles are always decent.

When I picked up this International it had 22700 on it the Truck now has 84391 I got the truck in September It's now the end of Jan. I have put 61691 miles on the truck, Avg this out to Per month at 5 months is 12,338 then do it by 4 weeks is 3,084. I also take home time frequently or my wife and kids would have my head, You do the math.

The miles are there but it takes Good relationship with your DM good management and a decent terminal and good work ethic to succeed, At least that has been my experience. I'm out here to support my family, That's my Drive for this job.

Is that why no one else has made any comments on the new thread I started on the good companies page? New thread for Knight Transportation

Not necessarily, its just just that from what I've learned here at TTr ...People hate gloats and cheerleaders. Trolls too. So when I see someone having a hard time at a company that I know about ill try to give em advice based on my own experience. But then im really careful on what I say because you know what they say about opinions right?
