not sure if I should post this here but..... question for any Knight drivers that may know the answer. I am working on setting up my orientation/ training date. I was planning on getting my DOT physical done before hand, now my recruiter hasn't returned my phone calls ( guess they are to busy for me ) is it a waste of time because I heard they want their exams done by their doctors ? also wondering if my leg will effect me during the PT ? I did break my left leg around Christmas time so healing up but not 100% yet. Any help on their PT test would be appreciated.

Good questions to ask, I have an APU and fridge... its a good deal. No more food that tastes like an ashtray and don't have electrical issues... I also love the fact my truck does 70. It makes driving much more enjoyable, especially when I go south or west. 63 sucks and 58 is a road hazard **glances in Prime's general direction**Bumper Thanks this.

Hey AZSteve, don't do your physical yet. Knight has their own network they work with. If you get one on your own, you'll still have to go to one of their providers to get another one.
azsteve Thanks this. -
Thanks DNA ,I thought I heard that before. Now I am not worried about the PT part of it other than I broke my left leg in Dec. and still not 100% with it yet, will that effect me ?

I seriously doubt a temporary injury will have that much effect. I would think a Doctor could take that into account when assessing someone's overall fitness.

yes I guess so . I was told if you get your DOT physical they still want their providers to do there own.

Thanks, its not bad, I worked everyday with a cast on. infact I haven't missed a day of work in 15 years. It just limits me jumping around and so on. I just don't want any reason for them to be pricks, I am quitting my job to do this

Yes, but when you remind Knight you're not a tool and quit, your new employer will require a new medical card through their Doctor. Even though you'll still have two years left on your current certification. -
yeah , at least I will know what to expect then. I hope I can stick it out to get the experience though. Its a tough choice between them and Swift. I do think (hope) I made the better choice.
