I'd rather stay on the safe side and stick with 65.

"It's no big secret within the industry that inflation maintenance is weak. Numerous surveys have shown that maintenance of truck tires is poor, with a recent TMC study finding only 44% of tires to be within +/- 5 psi of target pressure. The US DOT came up with similar results in a roadside study conducted several years ago. The recent AP article notes that as part of a separate investigation involving some Michelin tires, "[NHTSA] tested trucks and surveyed over a dozen drivers in Pennsylvania, finding that more than half had overburdened tires because of heavy loads or low air pressure. Sixty percent of drivers didn't know the proper inflation pressure for the trucks they were driving."

All of my tires are rated to 75mph, including my itty bitty 17.5's (hint: those are not Michelins)

Fortycalglock, thats fine bro, its just that i've seen a lot of accidents because of recklessness and speeding.

I had an accident happen in front of me in a semi on I95 in the bronx because of speed. I guess out west its a different story.

Heard that. Me too. Only time my nob turns to the left is when the head hits the pillow. Been running a long time myself.

Nobody said ANYTHING about speeding or being reckless. 75 is the legal speed limit in a few states. Some are even higher, but I don't overdrive my speed rating on my tires.

I run 75 in 70 mph zones all the time. Don't really see why anyone would have issue with moving along at the flow of traffic in mostly rural areas. I do strictly follow speed limits in cities, towns, and construction zones. The problem with speeders as I see it are the guys running against their 63 mph limiter in a 50 mph construction zone. Or gritting their teeth and tailgating grandma who's driving 62.915 mph.

I normally run about 63-66, and just mash on it to get around governed megas - and to feel better about myself after having driven governed trucks for years.

And I've got the CB on 90% of the time, running flat bed, with LS.
