Yes this load was to take me 800 miles away from home delivering Friday , need to be home Sunday no later than so I just replied to it only to see the full details only. Turned out to be heavy, live live. So I was just still trip planning it and thinking about the pros and cons of accepting it when boom all of a sudden it was assigned. I still wasn't sure yet because I don't know if it would have been better to wait for a more direct load home or take it and scoop up the extra miles (if they can plan me a load home after this) otherwise I have to bobtail home 800 miles which is really bad for the paycheck.

    Edit:
yes I had asked once about a mac 30 load, if it had a delivery window, the reply back was THAT LOAD IS NOT ON YOU

Scottie ... MAC 30 load offerings don't show on our screen. You have to let the DM know that it is a load offering that you are considering. If you don't explain that, they will assume you are talking about a preplan and will just go WTF when they can't see it.

on the Mac 30 if you want to turn down all the offerings just put a 0 in, it will cancel all offerings for those who didnt know. My mentor taught me that when he told me to watch for loads often while I was on his truck. They dont show the option of 0 but it works

They have had some stupid loads lately it seems. I had a jit load that I was over 30 hours early on.
Explain that. I sat 41 miles away for 31 hours. These planners do a good job getting you to take a load. Because they will say I need you to take this load and you know if you don't they just won't give you a load for awhile. Also just a heads up. The planners can and will change your PTA and it won't send you a message too. I ended up sleeping at c s grocery will say at 10:30 pm 05/13/13 and about 4 hours of me sleeping they sent me loads and removed loads and stupid important messages with just a . In them and I woke up only after 6 total hours of sleep and I had a butt load of these. Lol. I called dispatch and and my PTA was set for 05/14/13 23:59. And dispatch asked if I did that and I laughed. I said no. And he asked if I made a planner mad because they'll do that to you. So just a heads up to look for

    MikeCammer Thanks this.

    lol

I posted in another topic where they kept sending me load offerings yesterday even after I told them I was taking a 34 and I had to call up my DL to get my PTA fixed, yeah I havent been around long and can see planners are ignorant at times.

I wish in a way the planner that sends you a load had to send a phone number too. But I bet I wouldn't be on good terms with a few lol.

They even call u with preplans and come out to yard if ur sleeping and dont answer and are lije did u get ur preplan thats why I be here until I leave in a few months to go locak and drive tankers.
