BOOHOO I'm not going to Mi I'll take it from TX to IN and get all the miles off of it but I'm not forced dispatch so you can't make me go into Michigan BOOHOO.

Ok if you don't want to go to Mi don't take the load at all.Sit in Texas and prove your point. I don't get how you pick and choose parts of loads you want to do. .

Don't matter the company. Not just JCT. I don't turn down loads, but I have gotten into a pattern I like

There are some very valid reasons for turning down loads. Not something I ever tried to make a habit of but it's necessary from time to time. Simply not wanting to go to a certain state isn't probably one of them.

Good for you ... it's the benefit of running your own show you can do what you want. But what works for you, where you're at, may and probably won't apply someplace else.

They may say you're not forced lease, but you will get consternation if you DO say no.

This guy is funny, Drivers Unite but goes it alone- one man protesting against Michigan fuel taxes that he says are not spent properly. Fuel taxes are high in Michigan, as another excuse but has no problem going into Indiana which has its own high fuel and mileage tax.

If you're being paid flat rate pay my theory is stay in flat states. Michigan is pretty dang flat. Western Colorado, West Virgina and Pennsylvania are flat pay truckers hell.
